About TFB
TFB Radio is a non-profit radio station set up by two childhood friends Ben Blyth and Joe Thornton-Ford in 2013 to feed their growing interest in the world of broadcasting. Shortly after the station began to pick up momentum Sam Thompson (Bassduckfresh) came on board to deliver a diverse new show, TUNEedge (now known as DuckCast), and help the founders to boost the popularity of the station.
Since 2013 the three-way partnership has established a strong local following enabling them to offer featured shows alongside the regular slots, guest mixes from DJs around the UK and live performances from up and coming musicians. TFB Radio has hosted, streamed and provided the soundtrack to many live music events alongside raising thousands of pounds through their unique fundraising ventures.
In 2017 the station has begun establishing a national following, hiring new presenters and moving to a larger premises. With a bright looking future Ben, Sam and Joe ask for nothing more than you to listen and enjoy!
